Steve from Yorkshire here. Just seen the TV ad and thought i'd check it out. Never travelled alone before so not quite sure what to expect but after reading a few posts I think I'll be fine.

Not done a lot of travel (more of an armchair adventurer) but thats mainly due to work commitments and not having many travel buddy's with similar interests.

Although I've travelled a bit previously I did my first JY holiday last summer (Americas golden west), loved it and booked another in november on my return (andalucia).

Now just booked my 3rd this coming april (mallorca).

You meet some nice like minded people thats or sure.

I was worried too but took the chance and have booked China with a Yangtze cruise for September 27th.

It does seem scary but everyone else is in the same boat so we all have that in common! :D

No honestly you will have a good time whatever you choose. We all start somewhere. So go for it. Have a great time and you won't look back!

I am doing China in March (but not the add-on) Am looking forward to it - but this is the 1st time I have been alone for a while because usually someone else tags along or I join someone else even though it's Just You. But I know I will meet some smashing folk - you always end up keeping in touch with one or two of them too.

So it will be a new(ish) experience for me.
