Hey guys!

My name is Stephen age 27 years old and I am new to this forum. I thought I'd post a thread on here after seeing an advert on single travellers on TV. I'm quite keen on taking a holiday to Canada sometime in Feb and eager to find out information. Has anyone similar to my age done any thing like this before and what experiences have they had. Positives or negative feedback would be very welcoming.

I'm interested to find out what kind of age group go on these single travellers go away by themselves? Do you find people similar to my age or is it people in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s.

I would love to go away to Canada with a friend but most my friends seem unavailable or simply don't have the money. Therefore, I don't mind going by myself. I wouldn't mind meeting people first before jetting off and simply having company would be great.

Any one in my position thinking about jetting off to Canada sometime in Feb 2011?

Regards

Steve 🙂

Hi Steve,

I have been to USA twice with Just You and also to Austria. I am planning to go to Canada but not til Sept and am a fair bit older than 27! From my experience of USA trips there were travellers aged early 30's (about 3), some in 40's and the majority were in 50's, 60's and a few older. But you know what age is a mind set thing as I discovered. I am much happier with those with a sense of adventure and that isn't always related to age. The longer haul flights, ie USA tended to have those who were a bit more adventurous by the very nature of the holiday. I am sure Canada will be the same. Just You is always well organised and the trips I have been on haven't disappointed at all.

Go for it! ...... You will meet some great travelling companions.................
