Hello Glen- I am going on Wonders of China in May too I have also booked the Hong Kong add on and really looking forward to it. Please don't be nervous about being on your own, this is my 3rd holiday with Just You and i have enjoyed every one of them and met some lovely people.I would also appreciate advice on what to wear, climate etc. or any advice from past travellers. Also what is best to take moneywise , sterling . US dollars, travellers cheques, Chinese cash ? Bye for now Glen , see you at Heathrow.

Hi Marie and Glen

I went on the Wonders of China trip in February. My advice is only to take Chinese currency as you won't really get the opportunity to change up travellers cheques. You won't need much money anyway as everything is paid for except your soveigners and additional evening drinks. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Hi Lisa

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Your advice is a big help I was a bit worried about taking travellers cheques because of the problems cashing them, so cash it is. Good to know I will not need a great deal other than for shopping etc. It is always difficult to assess how much to take to a country you have never visited before.

Kind regards Marie Leake
