Hi everyone hope you all made it home with no delays. What a wonderful adventure we had in China. Now I am hone it seems somehow surreal. I look at my photos and can't believe I did all that. Walking on the Great Wall was one of my highlights but everything was good apart from the early mornings Ugh!!!! Thankyou for being such a good group of travelling companions. I shall remember this holiday for a long time. Best wishes to you all.

Rita.

Hi Rita,

Just like you I'm looking at all the lovely photos and memorabilia and wishing the holiday had lasted longer with not so early wake up calls too !!

I've developed a yearning for noodle and rice meals still and missing the lovely people we shared our holiday with.Hopefully we may meet up with a lot of them again sometime at other far away places.

Stay well and give my best to everyone. Ruth x

Hi Ruth - sorry to miss your call - if you can let me have your telephone no. I will call you. Yes it was fabulous holiday and I was so impressed so many of us managed to get to the top of the Great Wall of China. This was my highlight of China and the next was the Terracota Army. Hi to everyone that I met on the China trip. It was marvellous to meet such a lovely bunch of people - and now I am going to look at another place to go with Just you. I will forward the transcript on the Visa asap - at the moment getting over a silly cough and cold. I am also looking at the New Years Party - the one that includes the trip to Stonehenge - is anybody else going to it - if so let me know and we can have a chat.

Hi to everyone on the WOC tour 9/6/10. just a short messsage to ask all the friends who have received the visa translation from Jean to let her know as she is having some PC trouble at the moment.

Mo,Jan,Julia,David M, and Andy drop her a line via this site if you can as your e-mails don't seem to be sending for some reason too.

Hoping everyone has recovered from all the travelling by now and looking forward to their next exciting venture in the future.

Regards, Ruth

Hi to all the nice people on the WOC tour 9/6/10. I have just found some of your messages and felt I needed to add my comments. Seeing some of China was a wonderful experience, as was meeting you all. Yes, the Great Wall and the Terracotta Army stand out, but I also remember sharing a few beers with Frank, Andy and John on the roof of our hotel and watching a young Chinese couple almost coming to blows. Thanks again and, who knows, perhaps we may meeting again on a future Just You holiday. Islander

To all the lovely ladies I met on the China trip I though you would be interested in an article from The Sun on Thursday - 'Squat' Loos are being installed in the Exchange Centre in Rochdale, Manchester - just in case you have missed these delightful things. It tickled me to death to think they are installing them because the Asian customers raised the cultural awareness to them so at the cost of £200 each they are installing them. - perhaps we should raise this issue more in China - who knows. Happy shopping!!! in Rochdale of course. Love Jean. -
