It is my first holiday with just you, so am a little apprehensive.

I fly from Heathrow, and I know there are 33 people booked on this trip.

If there is anybody else out there on this holiday it would be good to hear from you.

The reviews on the hotel are very mixed so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is ok.

Is there anaybody out there that has already done this holiday and could comment on it

Yes, I did stay at the Bazzoni, but it was - wait for it - 1953!! It was brand new then so -yes it was nice! I've been worried about the conflicting reports about it but I have been assured by Olly (not on this page!) that if the hotel was so bad that clients were complaining they wouldn't be using it, as obviously they have to please the clients!

However,I did take the precaution of paying the supplement for a lake view room.

I'll let you know when I return.
