Hi Ken

My name is Isobel and I've also booked on this trip. It will be my third with JY, previously been to Germany and Italy. Had a great time last year in Italy everyone was very friendly and our tour manager was wonderful.

I haven't been anywhere near the places we will see on this tour but I am looking forward to going.

Regards

Isobel

Hi Isobel

nice to know someone else is going on this trip which sounds fantastic, any idea what sort of clothes to take as i no longer have anybody to do this for me.

I live in Clacton, Essex, am 67years young and look forward to meeting you and the other travellers.

Regards

Ken..

Hi Ken and Isobel,

It does look like there are just the 3 of us going on this trip! As regards to clothing Ken, a friend of mine visited New Zealand a couple of years back during the same 3 weeks. She said it was quite cold and they were caught out with summer clothes. Hong Kong is very humid apparently. I think the answer is to have layers of clothing. Not long now, looking forward to meeting everyone,

Marilyn

Hello everyone. Forgive me if this message appears several times. I am having difficulty submitting it! Have just discovered this site and it is nice to be able to talk to people who are also about to go on this tour. I am also a bit apprehensive about what to take, but I think NZ may well be cool. On the other hand, we have to think of the warmer places. I think this may well call for a large suitcase!

Hi Ken & Marilyn

Not long now until we travel. I have been checking out various web sites trying to find out what clothes to take and they all say much the same - layers is favourite. There is going to be so much to see and do, and I look forward to meeting you both in a couple of weeks.

Hi all,

Just wanted to reply to Liz's point about currency. I have one of those debit cards which doesn't rip you off too much for using it abroad and l am hoping that l will be able to use it in a cash machine before leaving the airport at each stop. I can't see the point of trying to judge how much currency we will need for each place and then either getting stuck with it or still needing to use a cash point to top up.

See you all on Friday!

Marilyn
