Glad to hear from someone else going to Lake Garda in Sept, are you going from Gatwick? I am planning to stay down overnight on the Mondawy to be down there early for the flight the next day. I have been on many JU holidays and I have enjoyed them all, you will really enjoy it. I have never been to Lake Garda before but I have been told its one of the best and I know this trip is fully booked.

I am staying in a B & B the night before, which is just a few minutes from Horley Station, 5 mins from Gatwick, I stay there every time I fly from Gatwick on a holiday, and they are not too expensive. Not sure whether we are allowed to advertise hotels etc on this site, so afraid I haven't written it down

I am staying at the Springwood Guest House, Horley, the night beore 7 Sept, they are literally 5 mins from Gatwick, they will also pick you up from station/airport and also can arrange cabs for first thing in the morning. If anyone wants telephone number I can supply that. They charge £45 a night and are very welcoming.

I am thinking of booking this up for next year ( September) as it will fall during my birthday. I would be interested to hear or get any feed back on this trip.
