Hello to everyone out there - is anyone booked to go on this trip - or if you've been before can you give me some tips on what not to take before I pack the kitch sink and, equally, what I really will need. I am SO nervous as its been a very long time since I have ventured alone - daunting - but the itinerary looks fantastic and I think I would be really stupid to miss it. I need some encouragement please

Hi Linda I did this trip last year at the same time and it is fantastic, the only thing is the moving on every day. The hotels in salt lake city and vegas were the best. I would pack a little of everything because the weather can vary from day to day, do take a waterproof of some kind. Our coach driver was Mike (an ex cop) and our tour guide was Julie and they were both fantastic, hope you enjoy your trip. Jeanette.

Hello to you all especially Jeanette as I was on the same trip as her last year. She is right, the weather was quite variable. You need a fllece or light jacket and something waterproof, but there are laundry facilities at some of the hotels and I did a wash in Cortez (reception gave me washing powder) on the first night there, hung stuff in my wardrobe and it was dry and ready to iron the next evening (check online which hotels have facilities). Great holiday, early starts, tiring but so much to see. Julie and Mike fantastic as Jeanette said. Agree about hotels - Salt Lake and Las Vegas the best.
