Any folks for Madeira this Christmas? Especially, going from Birmingham.

I'm thinking of doing this one myself. It's a lovely island. I was there at Christmas 2005 with another holiday company. The weather was generally good although we had a few very heavy showers after which it dried up very quickly.

I'm going to Madeira, departing Manchester. I would have preferred a Gatwick departure and the opportunity to meet fellow travellers but it was all booked out. Anyone else leaving from Manchester? I've to do an overnight there as I'm coming in the day before from NI.
