Yes, I am going too, have you noticed the visa fee for Zambia of $50? I'm afraid it's wrong, I have just phoned to confirm that it is Â£75 payable in dollars, which is a bit different!

The additional trips will add quite a bit to our spending too I think, but I am realy looking forward to a bit of sun. Might see you at Heathrow.

Thank you for the information. I gather that we can pay for the trips with a credit card as we go? Although I will take some cash.

Just to warn you, you will need to pay in cash (South African Rand) for any excursions you want to take, as credit cards aren't generally accepted for these excursions.

I did think I could pay the Â£75 for the visa in sterling - Is this not the case?

Hi Jennifer

Good news: the rules have changed since our brochure was published and the price of the Zambia visa has actually come down - it's now US$50, payable in cash (bear in mind no small notes are accepted). You'll also need some US dollars for spending money in Zambia.
