I have booked my first trip with Just you, Spirit of India 4 Feb 26 from Manchester.  I have been reading the NHS and Government site regarding vacination requirements.  I am confused about requirements in particular regarding Yellow Fever and a certificate.  I would be pleased if a fellow traveller could help and throw some light on this subject for me.

Hi. I'm on the Spirit of India trip with add on to Armistrar 5th Feb from Heathrow. Having vaccinations on this coming Weds. Just ring your doctor and they should be able to make an appointment for you with a nurse. The vaccinations are polio, hepatitis A, diptherea, tetnus and typoid. Hope this helps. 

 

Thank you so much for your helpful reply.  Have you had some or all vaccinations?  I had an appointment with the GP on Mon for which I had clearly explained the purpose and expected to be having at least one injection.  Also I wanted to make sure time wise in case a gap between vacinations was advisable.  I was told I should have been given a form to complete, which I did there and then and was then given an appointment for 2 Jan.  

Even though having all vaccinations done this coming Tues, 16th Dec, I was told generally vaccinations need to be done 6-8 weeks before travelling. Hope that helps.
