I did this trip pre-pandemic but the itinerary seems largely unchanged - you will have a super time.

You have picked a great tour for your first JY experience because the majority of the meals are included so you don't have to worry about the logistics of that. From memory, the tour is very full on but each of the cities has a very distinct identity which is fascinating. The 'headline' visits to the Forbidden City, the Great Wall and the Terracota Warriors are all incredible - take plenty of memory cards for your camera!

The Panda Research Centre in Chengdu is another highlight although unfortunately, they no longer offer the 'Panda Keeper Experience' that we were lucky to do which gave a once in a lifetime opportunity to interact directly with a panda (mine was a 14 month old little lady called Sa - truly awesome). However, you will have the opportunity to see a great many pandas (particularly if your tour arrives just before feeding time when they are at their most active and playful) and May is when a lot of the cubs are born, so you may get to see some very cute bundles in the 'sunshine nursey'.

This is also my first holiday with JustYou, and also my first holiday travelling alone.  The itinerary looks amazing, and like you, although I'm excited about the trip, I'm also a little apprehensive.
