I have just booked this for March 2025, first time to have done this type of holiday and hoping this won't be the last!  Any tips from anyone who has done this trip?

Hi Kirsty I'm Annee and this will be my first solo trip after losing my husband. We had planned to go together twice but it never happened. I am quite nervous about it! A friend recommended Just You to me so I am taking the plunge. Is this your first solo trip?

I did the New Zealand holiday a year after losing my husband. So i know how nervous you will feel. You will probably find that lots of the people on the trip have been on Just You holidays before and they really look out for the newbies! It really was the best thing I did and led to me booking holidays independently after. I'm now looking forward to my India trip in March.

I am doing the Spirit of India with Amritsar add-on. Is anyone else going? I have never been to India before and it will be another place to cross off my bucket list.

Hi, I did this trip in November and it was amazing. It was my first solo trip and I was nervous, but I can honestly say my anxieties were over the minute I got on the coach.

it was very full on, with early starts and full days but they were worth it all. There was a lot of catch journies but it was wonderful watching the world go by and seeing, the villages and day to day life.

Embrace  every minute and enjoy.

You will live out of a suitcase so use plenty of packing cubes. You can get laundry done at hotels with 2 night stays so don't overpack.

take wet wipes and hand sanitizer , especially for the trains.

don't worry about shampoos, toothpaste and shower gels, they are all in the hotel rooms x

Hi Kirsty I am flying from Heathrow.  I too have bought so much stuff including two leather backpacks, only to be advised not a good idea! Are you flying from Heathrow too?
