Need a little advice on how much cash to take on Spirit of India November 23rd

Say for drinks, meals, and tips please? 

Suggestions for clothing for the game drives, I hear its pretty cold in the mornings.

Also will there be a Tour director coming along with us from Heathrow or will we be met in India?

Thanks for your patience while we get all the info for you – we hope you’re getting excited for your trip to India.

As we say for all our tours, the amount of cash to take is a bit of a tricky one and quite personal to you and the amount of souvenirs you may or may not wish to purchase while you are away. Our Holiday Directors will certainly be able to guide you on the best places to withdraw cash if you need some extra spends while you are on tour. Tipping is customary in India and generally 10-15% is customary in restaurants.

In terms of clothing we always recommend taking a variety of cotton items that you can layer up or down depending on the weather, and a lightweight, waterproof and breathable jacket is aways a good idea too. Hopefully there will be some other folks in the community who can provide details on their experiences and recommend further options.

Finally your Holiday Director will meet you at the airport in India so they won’t be flying out with you.

When I did the Italy tour from Manchester I was able to check in on line and choose my seat, will this be possible with this tour please?

Thanks for your message. This varies from tour to tour but will be confirmed in your final documents if this is an option - these are usually sent out three weeks before your trip.
