I'm in the lucky position that I have been to all the countries apart from Iran and Mongolia, so Mongolia gets my vote at the moment! However, of all the 54 countries I have visited, Nepal is Number One (I didn't do this with JY) - I did the Everest Trail trek in 2003. Of the JY tours I have done India and Burma are joint number one. Maybe JY would consider an Indonesia tour and also the Bhutan tour that TS do? Please!

I voted for Nepal but it was a close run thing between Nepal and Mongolia for me!  I'd love to visit Nepal to see the Himalayas, Phewa Lake and Chitwan NP and hopefully will get there over the next few years.  I really want to see Mongolia as well and will be keeping an eye out for a review from Jonah when she comes back.  However, I can't go on holiday during July or August so hopefully if the tour continues to be popular, JY might put on an earlier May/June or Sept departure in a couple of years.  Providing Jonah reports back that the gers are comfortable and the food is decent!  The scenery should be amazing there.

Out of that list, I've been to China, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Borneo and Burma so I've seen quite a bit of SE Asia at this stage.  My highlights have been the Great Wall and pandas (China), the Taj Mahal and seeing a tiger very close up in Ranthambore (India), lovely scenery at Halong Bay and near Hue (Vietnam), Angkor Wat temples (Cambodia), seeing orang-utans and pygmy elephants (Borneo) and the diversity of temples and landscapes and friendly people (well really, everything, in Burma).  Although not on your list, I really loved Singapore for the wealth of interesting things to do, innovative buildings and the fabulous zoo (breakfast with the orang-utans!).  Hopefully I will get to Thailand and Laos one day as well.....

Problem with Iran, I'm very keen to go there, very old civilisation etc BUT at present it messes with getting visas to the US so have put it off until I hear about peoples experiences of getting US visas after Iran visits.

Well Burma got my vote as it remains on my list - but only until 30 October when I am booked to go there.

I was talking with a friend earlier about Nepal & it remains one of my favourites. I was there after 2 full on weeks in India, of which I am very fond with a family tie, with TS which also took in the Pushkar camel fair and the first thing you noticed as you stepped off the 'plane was the clean mountain air. Also it was very peaceful & serene with the prayer flags, incense and, many, temples.

Vietnam was a place I wanted to visit and when the opportunity arose there was the bonus of a few days in Cambodia. I thought "I might as well" and that became, almost, the highlight. That trip entailed travel between places by air but I am being pulled by your Untold Cambodia & Laos as this covers a lot of places I have not been to with transportation by land so you see the country & the people. And an add on to Hanoi. What am I waiting for!!

Also Japan is lovely. I visited there independently a few years ago & have friends there including an old school pal who I only re-connected with on social media after I got back. Another temptation.

Asia was not somewhere I had seriously considered until I went to Burma and fell in love with the country for its incredible diversity, welcoming people and stunning buildings.  Following that with Kerala this year and a stay in Mumbai confirmed it was 'my' kind of continent - highlights here were the stay on the houseboat and the time in Periyar generally although I loved it all.  Mongolia is next in July this year (and of course I will do a review Bob).  Cambodia, Laos & Vietnam are earmarked for next Spring so please keep this one going for another year!.  Of the others on the list I would love to do Japan but unfortunately the trip JY do is over my budget at the moment.

There's so much more to India; Gujerat, Himachal Pradesh the Punjab? 

Uzbekistan more than deserves to be reinstated too...!

Loved the Spirit of India trip I did a few years ago, Burma and the road to Mandalay has to be up there amongst my favourites.
