Hotels were good, local cuisine excellent and the local guide (Aniata) and tour manager (Paul) were brilliant.

However the brochure should stress more the walking aspect of the tour over the many unven steps in the old cities. Some people struggled a bit.

To summarise a great holiday which I would thoroughly recommend.

This should be classed as an adventure as well as a holiday. It was fantastic, even the 12 hour journey across the desert on pot holed roads you've not seen the like of before. It will not be the same when the new road is completed in 2014.

What more can I really say other than everything mentioned in the brochure happens. Age range mid thirties to eighty, however there were only two males in the group. Hope this helps.
