Hi Vickie.

This is showing on the website as the hotel for Pompeii, Sorrento trip next year.  Brochure is showing Hotel Palma in Pompeii.  May I ask which is correct please?

Hi Bosuncat,

It will depend on which tour date as to which hotel customers will be staying at. The website will show the accommodation for the next available tour date.

For the January departure this will be the Hotel Villa Romana, as per the website. However, later dates will be Hotel Palma. Once that is the nearest departure date, the website will automatically update to reflect the correct accommodation.

I hope this makes sense, but please let me know if not! 🙂

Many thanks,

Vickie

I stayed at the Hotel Villa Romana in Minori last Christmas. It's a lovely hotel and a few steps to the sea. I can recommend (if it helps)!

Hi Vickie

Does this mean that if I am checking website today for this holiday to go in say June 2020 that the correct Hotel will not show until after 16th March 2020 or when that holiday is fully booked. As far as I can see there is no mention on the website that Villa Romano is only used for 13/1,17/2,16/3 and 9/11. I like to check out the website for holiday details (hotels are obviously part of the thought process) prior to making up a shortlist but this means I can no longer rely on the Hotel details being correct for the date I pick. I assume this applies to all holidays that use a different Hotel early season which we would be unaware of when checking details for later departures. Whilst I appreciate I should also have the brochure as back up that is not always correct as details Hotels/Itinerary etc do change after going to print. I admit I am playing devils advocate a little here but you see my point where are the full correct details especially as we are encouraged to book early and also to enable use of the loyalty voucher.

Hi,

I have booked this with a departure of Feb 17th 2020 and my confirmation states Hotel Villa Romana, is that correct?

Thank you.  I've had a fair few holidays in the area in the past, but have never stayed in Minori.  I don't think it will happen next year though, but the new itinerary is very exciting.

Hi John,

Yes that's correct, you'll be staying in the Hotel Villa Romana.

Many thanks,

Hi Vickie

Did my post of a few days ago on this disappear. It was in response to your reply to Bosuncat.

Hi Paul,

Sorry for the delay - I'm just trying to find out if there's any way to change this, but yes at the moment this is how the website works.

I'll come back to you with a hopefully more comprehensive answer ASAP.

Many thanks,

Vickie

Just back from this holiday which was great.Stayed at Hotel Palma which is within walking distance of the Pompeii ruins. Some of the rooms at this hotel have high windows which Just You mention when booking. My room was on the 3rd floor and the window was 6 ft off the floor. Being 5ft 6in all I could see was the sky and the very top of the church steeple.Think there is high and very high.I asked to move but hotel was full.Suggest checking before travelling if this would be an issue for you.
