Hi,

I e-mailed this morning but have so far had no response to my query.

I am booked on the Spirit of India tour departing on 6th February and have been trying to pick my Premium Economy seats with Virgin Atlantic but it is not allowing me to do this as my booking is showing up as an Economy tickets.

I was hoping to pick a seat for my journey, but notice there are now no available seats showing for the outbound flight, and only 5 for the return flight. Does this mean Virgin Atlantic have allocated me my seats? I was hoping with upgrading I would have some choice of seat.

Do I now just assume when I turn up at the airport I will be given my boarding pass or will I be allowed to print them off myself, if so, do you know what seat numbers I have been allocated?

I must admit, after paying over £4000 for a holiday, I did not expect to be doing most of the work myself, but I would appreciate a speedy response to my query so I may at least have some choice of seat for my return journey.

Hi,

Thanks Mildred, I received a call from James yesterday afternoon and must comment on the excellent customer service I received.

It was only when I tried to book my seats that this came to light, and as a result JY gave me two options:

1) to fly with Virgin in economy on the way out and premium economy coming back (with some cash back for me);

2) fly there and back with Jet Airways in their equivalent of business class!

I, unsurprisingly, chose the second option and believe JY have gone way above and beyond the call of duty and I am very happy with the excellent customer service I have received. Thank you.

Hi Caroline,

That's really good to hear!  I've spoken to James a number of times and he has always been most helpful and very straight up, which I appreciate.  This is a great tour, full on, and I'm sure if you go with an open mind (needed for India!) you will have a brilliant time.

Hello everyone

Can anyone tell me if the Philippine holiday in May is going ahead as payment is due soon and I am still waiting to hear if I have a flight. Having contacted JY a number of times and still have not got an answer

I am sorry that you have been unable to get in contact with anyone from Just You.

Final payments is due 12 weeks before departure date but in an instance where we are unable to go ahead with the tour, we will contact you before your final payment is due.
