The price of the upgrade was £3299. I'm beginning to wonder if it was worth it as you can see from my previous post and I am still waiting for someone to get back to me as I still remain puzzled!PaulineD

Having flown economy class both for Australia and then NZ it wasn't THAT bad, I would rather spend my money on doing stuff while away and treating myself.

For that money I'd expect to fly business class for the whole of both journeys. I'm sure there must be a mistake somewhere and I hope JY have got back to you and sorted it out.

I'm thinking of an upgrade for my flight to Cambodia (waiting on JY to get back to me with costs) but I certainly wouldn't want to pay that much for anything less than Business class on all legs.

Apparently Singapore airlines only fly back Economy on the first leg of the return journey and Premium Economy on the last leg!!

Hi Pauline, if it's  any consolation,  I flew premium economy with Singapore  Airlines  last year  and was very comfortable. I eve  managed to sleep most of the way from Singapore to Heathrow. Flying from Cambodia, the fort leg of the journey only offered economy class, but it was fine for a short flight.

Hi Jan, Thank you for your post. I think the paperwork needs amending as it does state that the whole of the return journey is Premium Economy. It is good to know that the flight is comfortable and I have been assured that I have an aisle seat for the Economy Leg. Getting very excited now!!
