Hi Julia

Thank you for the excellent news. Have done a message regarding this on an appropriate thread.

When you have chance could you please give me an update of numbers for the Namibia trip departing on Feb 22nd? I asked this question along with a query regarding bottled water/drinking water availability in Mongolia, at the beginning of last week and was told it was being dealt with. So this is a just a reminder.

This is where it is useful to have an idea of numbers on a tour. I know the number on the Namibia tour was only 7 so I am doing a back up plan if it is cancelled. I am thinking of Mongolia (not enough funds to do both Mongolia and Namibia as I have Roof of World booked for Sept)

If you can't find out about water supplies in Mongolia at this stage I won't be too concerned.

If I go to Mongolia in June I will need a Chinese visa but I will also need a Chinese visa with Tibet  for The Roof of the World in Sept. Would I need two visas or would one visa for China cover both trips? How would it pan out, please?

Kind regards

Di

Hi Di,

Of course, the updated numbers are 7 confirmed travellers and one provisionally booked with the group made up of travellers from early-60s through to early-80s with 1 man and 7 women.

In terms of Mongolia and the water, I have been advised that arrangements have been made for each member of the group to have access to, or be able to purchase, bottled water each day.

On to the Visa - the trip to Mongolia will not having a full visa but a 72 hour one which is valid for the Mongolia tour only. You would still need to obtain a China visa for the Tibet trip.

Kindest regards,

Julia
