Hi

I am booked on the Burma Tour on 14th November this year. Due to a change in circumstances l will be having to cancel this holiday. I phoned Travelsphere in January to ask if I could transfer the deposit to them. I was told I'd have to pay an admin charge but yes this was fine and was asked to phone back when I'd chosen a holiday. Today I rang them to organise for the deposit to be transferred to my chosen holiday only to be told I had to choose a holiday of similar price to Burma!! What's that all about? I wasn't told that in January. Considering Burma is fully booked and is still eight months away I'm sure filling my space wouldn't be a problem. I appreciate there would be an admin charge but I feel I'm being cheated out of my deposit. Not happy with the way I've been treated at all

Cathy,

Not good customer relations if Travelsphere have done a U turn on what you was told in January.

I'm sure your place will be soon snapped up on this particular holiday as it looks so popular.

£350 is a lot to lose and be interesting to see how it's justified, can accept not returning the cash but transferring to another holiday because you now have someone you wish to travel with makes sense.

With customer relations like this although they are making the small profit off you they are losing two peoples booking off a September holiday and potentially many future bookings from two former JY regulars.
