Here goes, another attempt with my earlier questions. I am flying from Stansted, my local airport. How many other travellers are doing the same? I am quessing the tour manager is either meeting us at the airport, or travelling with the group from Gatwick. What are the arrangements for me to meet a JY rel/tour manager in Naples? On previous trips flying from Stansted, separate transport has been provided from airport to hotel. However in response to a telephone enquiry, the JY agent informed me that Stansted and Gatwick passengers will be on the same bus to the hotel. When is the Gatwick flight scheduled to arrive? What are the contingency plans if one of the flights is greatly delayed?

Hi SarahS,

You are the only passenger flying from Stansted on this date but as both flights arrive within an hour of each other at Naples you will all transfer together to the hotel. The tour manager or a local rep will be at Naples airport to meet you at 09.45 and wait with you until the rest of the group arrive at 10.25. If there are any flight delays a separate transfer may have to be provided but this will sorted on the day if necessary.

Kindest regards,

Monty

Thank you. Has the tour manager been allocated yet?

Hi SarahS,

So your Tour Manager booked for this trip is Marius Hurduiala, but please remember this is subject to change.

Kindest Regards,

Hi, I'm going on this trip, my first JY holiday to which I very much look forward. I see that the tour is sold out, is it possible to know how many are going and how the group is [approximately] comprised age wise. Thanks.

Hi Venetian,

The tour is indeed sold out now, with 23 travellers booked to go. The ages range from mid-30's to the mid-80's - so there is a great range of ages on this holiday.

Kindest regards,

Monty

That's a nice size group. My travel details have arrived, and I've checked in online and printed boarding passes.(Travelling by Easyjet from Stansted). Now on weather watch so I take appropriate clothes. The long range forecast shows thunderstorms are likely, hoping that may change but have waterproofs at the ready. Looking forward to meeting my fellow travellers in Naples.

It's interesting to see that you are going from Stansted SarahS. When I originally booked as I live in Essex, I chose to go from on the EasyJet flight from Stansted. The Gatwick flight times were similar, but Stansted is obviously so much easier to get to from here. Also on EasyJet you car book your seats in advance and as I need a lot of leg room, this is important to me. I even booked the Premier Inn at Standard for the night before as the flight was so early. When my paperwork arrived, my flight was shown as being from Gatwick so I rang Just You to query it. I was assured that there were no flights for this trip from Stansted and never had been. There was no longer any mention of it on their website either so I had to accept it and go through the rather lengthy process of changing my booking to the Gatwick Premier Inn. A longer journey and no chance of booking a seat in advance on a BA flight either. Clearly from you have posted the Stansted flight wasn't a figment of my imagination after all. It doesn't fill me with confidence for the rest of the holiday, but hopefully it will be better organised.
