Do I definitely have to have a yellow fever jab for this holiday? Reading on the internet I'm not sure this is essential when travelling from the UK. Please can you advise.

Many thanks, Ginny

Hi Ginny,

The current advice is that you will need to be vaccinated against yellow fever and have proof of the vaccination.

On this add-on you will travel to Zambia which is considered a yellow fever area and re-entry to South Africa (for your return journey) may be denied without proof of this vaccination.

Kindest regards

Julia

Julia,

I am on the Sep 30th Trip to S Africa and Zambia the nurse has given me an exemption certificate for Yellow fever I assume this is acceptable. I had the vaccination a few years ago and I am still covered. Do I need any other proof.? I am travelling down from Manchester anyone else on the flight? Tricia

Hi Tricia,

The exemption certificate should be sufficient documentation.

It looks like there will be four of you flying down from Manchester on this departure.

Have a great trip.

Kindest regards,

Julia
