I've just noticed the new tour for Lisbon. Unfortunately I've already got two holidays booked for this year, one in October, and can't get any time off work in September.

Do you know if there'll be another date around November this year, or if the tour will be running next year? I've wanted to visit Lisbon for a while and this tour looks really good.

Thanks for getting in touch, I have been advised that there are unlikely to be any further 2013 dates but very likely there will be 2014 dates - hopefully featured in the June brochure.

Just to add a comment on the Lisbon holiday.

I visited the city indepently last year and its my opinion that fitting visits to Cascais & Sintra in the same day is a bit much. Both lovely places and deserve a excurrsion on their own, I feel travellers wont get enough time at each.

Maybe Cascais could be doubled with something else but definately I would say Sintra needs more time, nice palace (and gardens), Moorish castle and Toy Museum all worth a vist. Also some good cafes for Lunch.

I'm glad to know the holiday will still be available next year, and look forward to booking it.

I've been looking at the places visited on this holiday and tend to agree with Mick. I think Sintra looks amazing and I'm sure I could easily spend a full day there. It looks like there are two free days on this holiday, do you know how far it is from where the hotel is situated to Sintra? I would most likely try and go back again on one of the free days if it were possible.

Not sure how easy it is to get into Lisbon from the hotel but we got the train to sintra, they are very regular in both directions and the cost is very reasonable.

Also did the same to Cascais although both trains go from different main line stations so would need to check which you need.

Can I just ask what the flight times are for this holiday? It's just I'm still trying to get on the holiday this year, possibly the September one. I know it states the flights are from Heathrow, but I presume JY would be able to sort connecting flights from Newcastle to Heathrow and back? I know if it's an early flight going out then it would mean an overnight hotel stay, but I'd be fine with that.

We can offer connecting flights from Newcastle to London Heathrow from £139pp, timings as below, an overnight stay will be needed the night before due to the early flight.

Can you please let me know how many people (age range & male female ratio) are going on this tour on September 16th? I know when I booked there weren't many people booked onto it-hopefully there are now.

Do you know if I'll get the chance to book and pay for the optional excursions before I go, or do I just pay for them in resort?

At the moment there are eight of you booked on this tour, currently all women with ages from early-forties to late sixties.

In terms of the excursions, whilst it's not available yet, we are going to try and make these pre-bookable, so you should have the option to book before you go.
