Is there a reason why it is still not possible to display a photo as my avatar?

I can change it to one that Just You provide but still can't upload any photo. No-one else has a photo either.

The butterfly is lovely, but doesn't half make my arms ache !! I still have my angel so I guess it isn't all bad news but we all seem to be incognito.

Our IT man tells me we have lost these for the moment. He is going to look int it further when he has time.
