Hi Olly,

I am limited as to the dates I have for my holidays this year, but would really love to do the America's Golden West. Is there sufficient people for the tour to go ahead on 19th Sept? Also how many have booked & what is the age range please?

Thanks

Julie

Hi Julie

There are already 17 people booked on this holiday - 12 women and five men - so I'm sure this trip will be going ahead. It's a very popular tour so it's likely to be fully booked by the time you go. The temperature in September will be nice too.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

Julie,

I did the same tour last June and they ran it with 18 of us so if 17 are booked now I suggest its almost certain to be a go.

Its a great holiday to choose, I really enjoyed it.

Hi Mick,

That's good news, as I'd be really disappointed, if I booked it after thinking about it for so long & it was cancelled! LOL...

I hear it's a bit hectic, but really good?

I've been on several holidays on my own, but really fancied an escorted holiday this time; and after reading reviews thought I'd be better with like-minded people with JY rather than just with a tour company package (that will probably be mostly couples).

I need to make some decisions for September then, America Golden West or Italy.

Definitely need to try out hol with JY & maybe find out what I've been missing all these years, when I've just pondered over going!

Hi Julie,

You're correct it is hectic with some early starts but well worth it to fit everything in. Quite a bit of travel but the with plenty of stop offs on route seeing some fantastic places (Carmel, Solvang, Monterrey, Santa Barbara, 17 mile drive, Long Beach, San Jacinto cable car, Calico ghost town, etc).

Universal Studios is fantastic we had 7 hours there and only saw half what I wanted to see.

Our 18 (11 ladies 7 men) had a age range from 27 to 77 but everyone got on so well.

I'll add it was my first JY holiday and I enjoyed it that much I booked Treasures of Andalucia on my return whichI did in november. Got Discover Mallorca (april) and Parks & Canyons (june) booked so far this year.

Hi Everyone! I'm new here, just signed up last night. I have been totally confused after reading all the positive replies about the different places to go. Now I think I have finally decided on America's Golden West possibly in September. Is anyone else from the North West going on this trip in September? Is September a good time of the year to choose for this destination? A bit apprehensive at present. Will be thankful for any replies. Suzy

HI Suzy

I am going on this trip on the 19th Sept 11. I live in Dundee in Scotland so will be travelling to Heathrow.

I am sure it will be a great time.
