All meals are included in your holiday so you won't need much money for food. Beer and soft drinks are also included.

So I would advise that you take as much as you are happy to spend - personally, I would take around £300-£400, which would work out at around £30-£40 a day.

Bear in mind too that the Chinese authorities don't allow you to bring more than 6,000 yuan (about £400) into the country - so if you want to take more, you'll need to take other currencies, use travellers' cheques or take your credit or debit card. Kind regards,
