Hi I my husband died 3 years ago and it has always been my dream to go to New England, we were all booked up to go the year my husband died. Anyway it has taken me all this time to actually get up the nerve to actually do something about it and I have just booked my very first solo hoilday and now I am wondering if I will be ok on the holiday as I have a hearing disability.

Hello

I'm so glad to hear you have taken the plunge and booked. I know what a big step it is for many people and I'm sure you won't regret it. New England is a a beautiful part of the world, with much to offer the visitor.

I doubt that your hearing disability will affect your trip at all, but if you are concerned, the best thing to do is to give us a call on 0800 567 7393 and discuss your needs with one of our holiday advisors, if possible. Alternatively, you can send me another message about your requirements, along with your booking reference, and I will make sure the tour manager is informed.

Have a great trip!

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

Hello there

I work within the deaf community. I don't know the extent of your hearing loss but if you are a hearing aid user and have speech I am sure you will be fine on a Just You holiday. If however you are a sing language user obviously you will not have access to the live commentry but there are ways around this e.g. print out content. Anyway I know you will have a wonderful time as everyone is usually very friendly! Enjoy and well done for taking the 'leap'!
