I am going on the egypt nile trip in April. I would appreciate any advise on money - is it best to just take cash? If I take cash only will there be a safe in the room available? thanks John

Hello John, yes I would definetly encourage you to take cash. The currency in Egypt is the Egyptian pound. I would also suggest taking some hand wipes because Egyptian notes are a little dusty, and you will be handling them throughout your holiday. It is also wise to take a little bit of English currency, as it can be used to tip porters, waiters etc, and they do appreciate a couple of English pounds.

As for your accommodation, it will include your own personal safe, so you will be able to leave money at the hotel.

I hope this information has been helpful and if you have any further questions then feel free to email me.

Kind regards
