Hello James or Olly, Finally received details of next Friday's coach trip to Amsterdam. I note that departure port appears to be Folkestone, where is the destination port. Orginally thought it would be the shorter Dover- Calais route. Also could you tell me what time is the crossing. Thank you.

Thanks for response. I have since found out that the crossing is via Eurotunnel. Booking ref is ********. Will the ferry port blockades by French fishermen affect our travels?

Hi Issy

You will now be travelling from Folkestone to Calais by Eurotunnel - a journey which takes approximately 35 minutes. The original ferry crossing from Dover-Calais would have taken 1 hour 35 minutes.

I'm assured that the blockades are all finished now, and in any case they affected the ferry port and not Eurotunnel.
