I have booked for this but feel a little concerned about reports of political instability and refugee situation in the area. Am I correct in thinking that, if the problems were to become more serious nearer the time, that the tour would be cancelled and money refunded?

As I understand it the problems are mainly in neighbouring Kyrgyzstan although, as you say, Uzbek minority refugees are heading for Uzbekistan. I wouldn't expect this to affect your holiday in September but if the situation does deteriorate and the country is unsafe for visitors, you certainly won't lose out on your holiday. If the trip can go ahead with a few small changes, we will try to do that. If not, you will either receive a full refund or the option of some alternative tours.

We will keep you fully informed if any changes become necessary.
