I am travelling to Canada with you next May, and would like to know if it is possible to use a phone charger and digital camera charger over there,as the voltage is different. I have the correct adapter but this will not change the voltage, and these appliances are set up for UK voltage.

Hello

You're right - you will need a voltage converter, as Canada runs on a 120 volt, 60 hertz system. A combination converter is the most useful kind as you can use it for the kind of jobs you mention, plus high-wattage appliances such as hairdryers and irons.

Hope you have a great trip,
