hi Olly...i have just been reading through some of the reviews for the salamis bay conti hotel,in famagusta,on-line..the reviews are quite mixed..a number talk about water quality,(for baths,showers, wash basins, etc), water being brown, even if you run it for some time.one review says maintainance ran the water,for 3 hours!and it was still brown,though a lighter shade...maybe the water in those rooms hadn't been used for a while, the pipes needed flushing out,the water tank needed inspection, or some of the pipes needed replacing?...i worked in a 4 star hotel for many years and know that brown water can happen in u.k hotels sometimes...i can understand buying bottled water to drink.. no variety in the entertainment,(same thing every night),some parts of the hotel needing a little re-vamp,and selection/variety of food being very limited.

i know that it can be dependant on a number of things, time of year, guest numbers,staff sickness etc. its just a matter of weighing up the pro's and con's..afterall,a holiday is what you make it.i shall still be going and am not put off by them..i hasten to add, 90% of the reviews are very positive...do yourselves at just you,and the hotel look at the reviews and work to do something about them where appropriate?.i for one,like to think so....i would have liked to ask the just you rep' for this hotel/holiday about this, rather than burden you,but i cannot find him/her on the "tour managers", message board..i think one of them is called sevi?.

overall, i am very much looking forward to staying here..all said?,the hotel looks great!. and i look forward to a relaxing/exciting,(and VERY warm) holiday.

Glad to hear you are looking forward to your holiday so much.

We do look at the reviews on the internet but I think they have to be taken with a big pinch of salt - both good and bad.

We have a number of staff whose job it is to visit our hotels regularly and make sure everything is of a high standard. The last thing we want is for our customers to be disappointed with any aspect of their holiday!

hi Olly...yes,i thought that would be the case...as you no doubt know with reviews,most people don't leave a,"negative", comment about there holiday,because most people havn't had a problem with it!...but,it is important that those who do leave negative feedback know that there comments are noticed,and actioned,where applicable.

i have been wanting to take a short holiday for about 3 years now,since my fiance died in early 2007...since i have decided to use "just you",to arrange my, "single", holiday for next year, i am assured more and more,that i have made the right decision..your service is fast,professional,organised, and customer service is without fault..some other companies can learn a lot,just by looking at your standards.
