Hi, this is going to sound very silly but I have only been on a plane twice before and then I just followed everyone else without paying as much attention as maybe I should have. This year I have booked two holidays with JY (Heart of Alpine Europe & Pyramids & Nile)both from my local airport. I am worried that I will not know which way to go or get myself arrested or something equally stupid. Some reasurance would be nice, Thanks Rosemary.

Hi Rosemary

I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine. UK airports are very well signposted and as long as you arrive at the airport in good time, you can't really go wrong. Once you've checked in and gone through the baggage scanners, keep an eye on the big screens to find your departure gate and give yourself plenty of time to get there. In some cases the walk can take a good 20 minutes. If you feel at all unsure, there will be plenty of airport staff around to point you in the right direction.

Have a great holiday.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor
