I did post this question over a week ago but it has never appeared on the thread so thought I would post again . I have decided to go on the trip to the National parks in America on 30th of September or Canada and New England in the fall at the end of September ( I just can’t decide lol )I wondered if anyone has booked either of these trips ? and if anyone is going to Canada if they are doing the Newyork or Boston add on as I wouldn’t want to be the only one .

If anyone has been on either of these trips it would be great to hear how your experience.

I am on the October 3rd Canada and New England in the Fall tour and staying on in Boston, I have been there several times before, so looking at some day trips outside the city.

My first tour in 2006 was Boston, New England, New York. Was a fantastic tour. Then a few years ago I did a slightly different tour in that region that had Canada included but also had as a extra a few days add on in New York which I did. The add on did not have a tour manager and we had to make our own way back to the airport. It was nice to have a few days doing our own thing, I also went back to NY a couple years ago independently as there were still things I wanted to see and do...

If you choose this sort of tour you are on the go all day, so go with comfy shoes and where layers to layer up and down .... but you are seeing and doing great things!

I did the New England trip in early October. We just timed in right to see the fall colours that year.  It’s a good trip, but  the “fall time” does vary from year to year.  Something to bear in mind if seeing the colours is important to you.

Thank you for your reply  🙂 yes I did think that the “fall time” would probably vary and be pot luck as to wether you see the colours . I expect October your more likely to see the colours then September .

I did a Fall trip with another company in 2015,which started a couple of days later in October. When I reached North Conway,one day the colours were dullish, overnight the hill opposite the hotel became a kaleidoscope of bright colours and the rest of the tour was full of colour.
