After several weeks thinking about it I booked my first trip on my own. Hope I have done the right thing  :idea:

You totally have done the right thing, which tour are you doing! I have travelled the world with JY and seen some amazing sights and met some great people along the way..

After being sent the link to the website it took me over a year before I booked my first trip.......I've now done four and have three more booked. I still get nervous but I'm definitely glad I took that first step- I've seen places I never thought I would and there's plenty more to see.

A lot of people on here will say you get the bug.......I have.

I'm sure you have done the right thing...and if not at least you gave it a go.

Booked a trip to Vietnam for October. Any reviews or advice?

You have ! Took the plunge myself in 2017 as no one wanted to visit Namibia with me. From the moment of arriving at airport and seeing the rep with the Just You sign I was reassured. She saw me through check in etc which was great. Everything straight forward. It is now 2020 but I am still in frequent touch with4 people from that trip and we meet a couple of times a year. I still do other trips with family but my JY trip has a special place in my heart. I am taking second trip this Feb with JY and another this Autumn. I am certain they will be as good as my first . What was so nice was that if you needed space that was possible but crucially the meal times were arranged so no one had to be alone unless by choice. My main memory ( apart from the sights visited ) is laughter. And I am no huge extrovert. Be reassured and have a fabulous time

Thank you for the reply. I have received so many reassuring responses it seems to have put my mind at rest. I am visiting Vietnam with a tour in October. Really looking forward to it.

Hi Dennis

I and a travel buddy did the Travelsphere Cambodia and Vietnam trip last October. We really enjoyed this holiday the highlights being the overnight trip on the boat in Halong Bay, Hanoi and seeing Ankar Way at sunrise. For me, I could have missed out the time in Saigon which is a very busy city. The traffic is so bad that we were afraid to cross the road even with pedestrian crossings.

Hi Dennis I'm going! Can't wait...

It will be my 2nd trip with JY. Last year I went to Croatia which was amazing but thought I'd be a bit more adventurous this year.

I am really looking forward to it. Just got home from Bangkok with my son. He is 19 now and wants to do his own thing now, which I can understand. so this will be my real first trip on my own.
