I am currently ill in bed with not much to do (well plenty to do), and am research solo holidays for one of my busy brothers.  Where would people recommend?  He's mid forties, completely flexible other than June/early July, can go anywhere but budget needs to be sensible.  Loves scuba diving, walking .....

Slovenia is beautiful with good walking and bike routes. The sea in Croatia is beautifully clear and I should think would be good for scuba diving.
