I am going to India this Thursday and want to ask about the currency, is it better to take sterling or to use a debit card?
Thanks in advance
Clare
My advice would be to take cash which can be easily e changed at hotels. Debit cards are accepted in some shops.
Enjoy your holiday
Lesley
If I remember correctly I took about £500 for the longer trip and spent all of it. I did buy gifts and souvenirs who h accounted for quite a bit. I think about £300 should be more than ample.

Hi Linda
Thanks, Lesley. I was thinking about that sort of amount. I suppose it wont hurt to have extra....just in case!
