I am doing this trip next week-end and I note that I will need Hungarian currency for the day trip to Budapest.

For anyone who has done this trip did you buy the currency this end or just change Euros/Sterling in Hungary?

As lunch is included, you only really need currency for drinks at the time - and perhaps an ice cream or something similar.  As far as I remember, I paid in euro.  This is a great little trip, I'm sure you will enjoy it!!
