Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and I'm looking to book the Route 66 tour for September, within the tour there is 4 optional excursions for Las Vegas....help!...has anyone been on this tour? And if so, can you advise me on which excursion is best?

Many thanks in advance

Sally

Hi Sally, All 4 look good, however I couldn't begin to tell you which one to choose, I did a fixed wing flight years ago which was great, I sat in the co-pilots seat so had a fantastic view, I would suggest you see what your budget will allow and then make your choice, hopefully others may guide you as well, I am booked on the September trip and I am really looking forward to this one.

Hi,

I am also new to this site and looking to book this trip. Does anyone know the best time to go on this? Thinking September, if so any ideas if anyone has booked this trip?

Thanks

Sorry for slow reply, all 4 definitely look good, now just need to decide which one. I'm wanting to book September's (already booked time off from work  🙂 ) do you know if I can go ahead and book it and then make amendments to the add ons later?

I've never done a touring holiday...especially on my own, so I'm still searching for answers. I've booked time off work to coincide with the September timings, but I'm still undecided about which Las Vegas excursion to book, they all look great, and I don't want to miss anything important lol

Hi Sally, I did this trip 4 years ago and can honestly say it was absolutely brilliant. Santa Fe is the prettiest place with lots of Mexican style buildings and the Grand Canyon flight is incredible. A once in a lifetime holiday. We went extremely early from Vegas (also great), took a small aircraft flight first of all and then got in a helicopter for a breathtaking flight over the Canyon, followed by a little boat trip on the Colorado. Beautiful, the silence was deafening. There is so much to see and experience on this trip. The Petrified Forest and Meteor Crater were also incredible.  There is a lot of travelling involved but oh so worth it. We even had a tornado in Oklahoma!! From start to finish a fantastic holiday. We were very well looked after throughout. Hope this helps you.

Regards, Elaine.
