Looking forward to this of course.

Wondering about the temperatures...may be quite mixed I think.

Hi Pamela, I went in February 2013 and it was cool and showery in Hanoi, mild and foggy in Halong, hot and sunny in Hoi An, hotter still and humid in Ho Chi Minh City!

Hope this helps and have a great time, I loved this tour!

Hi Pamela,

I'm also going on this trip in March. Will be staying overnight at Heathrow the night before we go. Look forward to meeting you~ have heard it's a great holiday. Agree the temperature could be mixed, and am taking a brolly just in case!

Hi Pamela and Jean,

I too am booked for this trip and very excited about it, and I will also be staying at Heathrow on night of 16th as it is quite an early check-in and I have to travel from Dublin. If previouJ JY trips are anything to go by, there will be a lovely breakfast available in the lounge we have access to, as sometimes people don't realise this and buy brekkie at the terminal. As regards clothing, I plan to bring light casual stuff with perhaps a fleece and a rainjacket just in case but I am expecting it to be warm and humid. I will probably bring a few casual dresses for the evening and day as sometimes they are more comfortable than trousers in these conditions. Busy making out my list soon, as I want to keep luggage to a minimum seeing as we have so many changes of hotel and no doubt there will be laundry facilities somewhere along the way.

I am also doing the Cambodia add-on - are either of you doing this?

Regards

Marie

Hi both,

Great tip about the breakfast!

I'm not a watcher of Top Gear..but they travelled the coast road on motor bikes...all looks amazing and very frenetic in Hanoi!
