I think people rate Vietnam as a very good holiday destination. I am hoping to do Vietnam and Cambodia (and Laos if Just You include it again) in the near future. I would say, go ahead and book it. You will love Vietnam.

I did this tour in Feb 2013 and had a great time with so many interesting experiences! The weather varied greatly from cool and rainy in Hanoi, to sunny in Hoi An to sweltering in Ho Chi Minh City! The food was a joy throughout.

Fly to Hue, former capital of Vietnam on day 5.

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, better known as Saigon.

Don't worry we had the same set up when we went and I queried this at the time as well! The internal flights vary in time and frequency seemingly and will be arranged by the local agent and info given to you when you are there by your tour manager.

yes thats right there are 2 internal flights, we're going now next week, can't give you more precise details off the top of my head of times etc as at work

I did Vietnam for Christmas a few years back, it's an amazing place, the Rex Hotel rooftop bar it a great place to grab a bite to eat and watch the bustling city from above. Although not encouraged, a ride through Ho Chi Minh City on the back of a moped is something totally different.

have just returned from Vietnam and posted a review, I was very impressed, honestly you will just love Vietnam and def worth doing, unfortunately I didn't do the Cambodia add on, yes I agree Ho chi Minh city is sweltering with Hoi an and its beautiful location in Central Vietnam hot and sunny with Hanoi bringing more chance of rain but still nice and warm

I did Vietnam and Cambodia in 2013, along with Bob, and I would definitely recommend doing the Cambodia add-on - whatever it costs! You are going all that way, and to not see some of the world's historic sights would be a shame.

Hi, I did Vietnam with Cambodia add on nearly a year ago, and like Bob and Hils think the add on was definitely worth the extra cost - Angkor Wat/Angkor Thom etc were amazing.

We flew via Singapore with Singapore airlines, the service, comfort and food on board were excellent - the best airline I've ever flown with. I'm doing the Wild Borneo tour in May and I'm glad we're going with Singapore again. I don't know what Vietnam airlines are like long haul but we had a couple of internal flights with them last year and I can't say I was very impressed!
