Hi, I have booked my first Justyou holiday, walking in Tuscany for 1st September. It would be nice to hear from someone else who is on this holiday as it is my first time travelling abroad alone. Also any tips from people who have previously been on this holiday would be much appreciated.

Hi Audrey,

Did this holiday earlier this year and enjoyed it.

Of the 3 walks we did the first was boring (along a trucking road through a forest) but suspect it may be changed as we mentioned our thoughts.

The 2nd walk was mainly downhill and would advise at list one stick as can be tricky.

3rd walk was through beautiful countryside with a few uphill sections that got the lungs working.

The other 3 days we did excurrsions, Florence one day is a must, Sienna is really nice and you must go in the catherdral its amazing.

The other day we got the service bus to a mountain top town and visited some wine cellars, although not in he itinerary finished the holiday nicely.

If you get Silvia as tour manager you will be lucky, she was very nice and worked hard keeping everyone entertained, organised a number of things to keep us entertained including a quiz one night and a disco on another.

A recent trip to Mallorca has just been added (was totally solo) and of course the Walking in Tuscany with JY is on there.

Couple of interesting City breaks coming up this year, Berlin (soon) & Madrid. Then of course got my JY holiday to Cuba in October.

The first time that I went on a JustYou holiday was in 2011 and that was to Andalucia. I did not log onto the community then.

It would be great to meet up with other travellers before departing from Heathrow as I find it difficult to break the ice once at the destination.

I am looking forward to the trip and find Heathrow a pleasant experience.

I am also going on this holiday, I have been with the Just you company a couple of times and on both occasions have found the holidays well organised, looking forward to meeting up , will be at Heathrow early as coach gets me there about 6am.
