For anyone going to Italy there is a 3-part series starting on BBC2 at 9 p.m. on Friday entitled Italy Unpacked that looks interesting, covering art and food. The first programme is in Puglia and visits Matera. It doesn't say where the others visit.

I don't know if the series has been on before, but it is billed as a new series and is not marked as a repeat.

It is new and starts in the south, working its way up the eastern side of Italy, whereas the previous series started in the north and headed down the western side. If it is as interesting as their earlier travels it will be very good.
