Hi Sue, I love this holiday to costa de la lux, I started going in June 2012, & September 2014, & again this June 2015, it's a great hotel, good food, trips are great Seville in a very nice city, I have been on the boat trip and the horse & cart, I enjoyed the horse & cart better as you see more of Seville. I was there in late September of last year. Very good hotel, good food and lovely staff. Everywhere spotlessly clean and the rooms are fine. I paid extra for a sea view with a balcony but I have to point out that the sea is a good distance away.

The beach is wonderful and stretched for miles. Watch out for mosquitoes at night though. Take a plug in and plenty of repellent.

I didn't go on all the trips because the humidity caused me some problems but don't let that put you off. Seville was VERY hot but a great city. We went on the horse and carriage ride which was lovely. Tavira, just into Portugal was a lovely little town.

Costa de la Luz is really a lovely trip and the hotel is wonderful too. I went in May and had no problems with mosquitos.

Jaya, thanks very much, really looking forward to it, hotel has some good reviews here. I may give Seville a miss if its that hot, dont like it when it gets too hot when sightseeing.

Don't miss Seville. It is a beautiful city, and the trip includes what you could call a panoramic drive around some of the key points. There are some awesome parks, and when we were dropped off there wasn't a lot of walking. You end up at the Cathedral and there get your free time. Lots of tapas bars, and time for souvenir shopping. You can't get lost. :thumbup:

There is also a chance to go on a short river cruise( for which you pay extra) but the walking in the central city area is flat and it's a good chance to pick up some souvenirs. It's not a hectic city tour by any means.

Just make sure to take a bottle of water with you. 🙂
