I did this last year. The hotel was different to the one this year.

With regards to dressing up - it was mixed some did some didn't. I would say it's up to you!

The hotel we stayed at, the dinner was on Xmas eve.

Weather was really warm - in the late 20's.

The group was large - 32. On the "free" day, half the group wanted to site see. The local guide arrange a day

trip to "Casablanca"

Has any of the forum members been to Marrakech for Christmas? Just wondering if people dress up for Christmas dinner. I am going this year and want to make sure I take the right things!

I'm new to this site & a planning on going too. Have you travelled with JY before? It would be good to have someone to plan with, somehow less nerve racking. Any idea how much walking is involved? I'm just a bit worried about the reference to gradients and steps as, although I'm a bit arthritic.

I am also new to this site and trying to make a decision to book the Morocco trip, I see there are only 2 places left now.

I have never been on this type of holiday and a bit nervous, but I am determined to go away over xmas so will make a decision soon.

Julia, yes I have travelled with Just You before - Morocco Christmas trip will be my 8th. As to how much walking is involved, it all depends on the excursions though you only have to do as much as you can. When I went to Istanbul, Troy and Ephesus we had a lady who had both hips replaced and even though she was with us on all excursions, she did her own thing sometimes wandering on her own at her own pace rather than being with the Group all the time. I am sure you will be fine.

Carol, there is no need to be nervous when travelling with Just You. Everything is taken care of and to date I have found that everyone is friendly. You meet people of all ages and experiences and we all are in the same boat.

The itinerary is slightly different this year to last year.

The walking wasn't a "speedy" pace! Gradient fairly even and not much steps.

As Java said, you only have to do as much as you can.

It was my first holiday at Christmas time and I enjoyed it!
