Hi everyone,

I've just signed-up and would really like to chat to some single-travellers about their thoughts on their trips.

Would definitely be a big help, as I'm quite undecided as to whether this is for me or not?

Hope to chat soon. Thanks.

Hi

I have been travelling with Just You since 2010. I had just taken early retirement and head the time and wherewithal to consider visits to places on my wish list. My first trip was to China followed by west coast of America, India and Canada and New England. Off to Apulia this year as did not want to do another long haul trip.

I had great experiences on my trips and met some great travelling companions-ranging in age from mid twenties to mid eighties.

My advice is pick a holiday and go for it.

Hope this is helpful

Lesley

hello and welcome

I echo what Lesley has to say..

I started using JY in September 2006, my first tour was long haul to USA and I now have my 10th tour booked for this year. I have travelled from Sustria Tuscany USA many times Kenyan Safari and as far as New Zealand. I am now 55 and I do have a husband but I love to travel and he does not? Very safe way to travel if you want to be alone you can if not just go with the flow. Gou will meet a god mix of people ladies and men, age anything from 20 to 80. I hope you give it a go and if there is anything else I can help you with just ask.

have fun

Hello and welcome. I too felt the same way as you do last year when I took the bull by the horns and booked myself a JY holiday to Thailand -and had the time of my life !!. I met some wonderful people and I'm still in touch with a few of them. Everything was taken care of without the "school trip " feeling. I'm now looking forward to my next trip to Peru in a few weeks and have seen SO many more trips I'd like to do. Go for it and I'm sure you'll have no regrets.

If you let us know what sort of thing you are looking for, maybe we can steer you in the right direction. JY offer a variety of trips depending on what you want out of your travels.

I have been on four trips with Just you since 2010. I would have been on more except for timings and work. I have seen Jordan, Sinai and Cairo 2010, Lake Garda with opera in Verona and Venice 2011, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Leichenstein September 2013 and Scotland October 2013.

This year I have booked Route 61- the Blues tour in November. This is the only trip that I have been to some of the cities ie Memphis and New Orleans. I try to get on trips that are on my bucket list of places to go.

Hi

I would add have a look at the brochure to see what is on offer and then decide on where you want to go and book it. There are all sorts of holidays - City breaks, short European tours, long hauls etc. Whatever you choose, you will have a great time and will want to book another one when you are back. Life is too short so just go ahead and book something.

Hi, I've done 5 trips over the last 4 years, enjoyed all of them, met some really nice people- I would say the long haul trips are pretty full on but you get to see and do so much, you can choose to have rest days if you like 🙂
