Well I have booked and paid for the above holiday which I am told has been given the green light.

This tour was not high on my ‘to do’ list but having been on the Texas and New Orleans tour last year, I was disappointed with Houston Space Centre and there was no time for a swamp tour in New Orleans.

Everyone tells me that the Kennedy Space Centre is much better and there is an Everglades swamp tour.

Having read Nixon’s excellent review of this tour and hopefully some of her comments have been implemented. The more I read about this tour the more I am looking forward to it!!

So who else has booked this tour???

Also anyone who did this tour last year, what places to visit / see to fill the free time.

Regards

Malcolm

thanks for the name check, I have read the new information regarding this tour in the brochure with interest, and can I say that JY definitely took onboard all the comments that people raised regarding this first tour. I can only say I think you will have an excellent time with the tour now the tweaking has been done. I had no interest in the space centre, but it just goes to show I am so glad I went as I was impressed!!.

that's what I like about tours sometimes I just go with the flow and I surprise myself.

I look forward to reading a review from you when you get back. please be aware it could be extremely hot it was when I went there..

Having purchased a guide which covers this tour, what other stopping places are there beside the ones mentioned in the Just You brochure, so that I can read up about them?

Many thanks

I know it's mentioned in the guide but worth looking into the Edison Ford winter estates I wish Inhad know a bit more about this before I went! as I rather enjoyed it.

Sloppy Joes www.sloppyjoes.com had a nice meal drink and good music this is in a Key West

There is a animal place right next door to postcard inn hotel in islamorada, I didn't go but others did and they swam with dolphins if that sort of thing appeals to you.

Tin city at Naples waterfront was interesting, it's a marine marketplace lovely meal I had somewhere !!

Conch train tour is worth paying for, when I went it was scorching no way would I off been able to walk around so this train was great for me

Historic palm Cottage Naples Pier didn't go in but would of liked to

We just visited Vero Beach Oceanside for Lunch and for the guide to look at a few hotels this looked a very nice place.

Most hotels had free WiFi

I used the business suites where there was one which was handy

All rooms had hair dryer iron and ironing board, and most had safes, some had fridges.

Hello Malcolm,

Well I've also booked up and paid for this holiday. This will be ny 3rd JY holiday having done the Golden West in 2011 and the Rockies in 2012. If this is as good as those two tours then we should have a great time.

Hopefully there will be a good mix of people to socialise with.

See you in May.

Cheers,

Clive (Exeter)

Well it’s just one month to go so hi to everyone who is going on this tour.

I understand there are 21 booked so far (10 male / 11 female) with a good age range. The tour manager is Kim Valence who was on the tour which Nixon (Cindy) did an excellent review last year.

So besides Clive Painter (hi Clive) who else is on this tour?

Remember this site is good for getting to know fellow travellers before we meet at the terminal, aircraft or even the US customs hall!!!

All the very best

Hi Clive and anyone else on this tour.

Well according to the USA Weather channel, Florida is experiencing some thunder storms this weekend, but all looks good when we touch down on Thursday with the temperature in the high 80’sF.

A friend of mine who lives in Naples has given me a few places to eat / visit on our tour if we have time.

Hope everyone gets on well and no doubt we will meet up in the Servisair Lounge at the North Terminal.

All the best

Malcolm
