I've only just found this forum. I usually travel by myself and make my own arrangements but I'm considering using a company like JY for the convenience. I fancy going to somewhere in the Mediterranean in the spring and I'm trying to decide between Italy or Croatia.

What I'm looking for: I like scenic coasts. Flights from Manchester.

What I'd like to avoid: long transfers and too many hours spent on coaches.

JY do a combined Italy/Croatia trip but its not quite what I'm after, the italy portion is inland.

There's a' top to toe of Italy' that looks good.

JYs 'Croatia’s Istrian Coast' looks tempting as it includes a trip to Venice and Plitvice waterfalls but it only seems to depart from London.

'Sorrento - Pompeii, Capri and The Bay of Naples' - I'd also like to visit this part of Italy but it's another london departure.

Does anyone have any feedback on these to help me decide?

Can't give a lot of feedback as I have not done any of these trips but have booked Discover Italy/Croatia for June this year though not sure if the trip will go ahead as so far not many people have booked. The Italy portion may be inland, but the scenery looks fantastic - I have been to Italy but never been to the Dolomites region so am really hoping that the trip goes ahead.

I have done four long haul holidays with Just You all of which went from London. I live near Glasgow and had to decide whether to have a holiday which went from local airport or choose to travel to London. Very limited choice and in the end chose to go to Apulia as this was the only region of Italy I had not been to. Each region is very different and you will see and do a great deal no matter which holiday you chose. There are five Italian destinations which go from Manchester.
