I am new to "going on holiday on your own" and have been trawling sites to see what is available. It's not really important to me (oh no? then why are you asking?) as I agree, age is all in the mind but I've just returned from a holiday with my mum which are available to the 50+ age group and everyone was at least 80+ It would have been nice to have at least a few younger people there (I am 58).

So, what I am rambling up to asking is - on average, what is the age mix for a Just You holiday please?

There are hundreds of holidays I would be interested in .... if I can buck up courage to book!

Just You holidays always have a good mix of age ranges. I am 49 and I have been travelling with this company for about 10 years. I am certain that you will find a lot of younger people on the trip you choose.

Do book a holiday with Just You. I've been on about 10 holidays with them and there have been ages from mid-20s to late 70s but as Mick says, your age will fit in perfectly.

You'll have a great time, meet lots of different people, see lots of different places and when you return, you won't be able to wait to book your next holiday.

Just peruse the brochure, decide on what appeals to you most and just book. You won't regret it.

I am in exactly the same position as you jampot. Also 58 I have spent several weeks looking at the forum and decided that JY sounds like just the holiday company for me so I have taken the plunge and booked the Canada and New England.

Now filled with nerves and anticipation. Everyone on the community boards seems so encouraging and friendly it is worth giving it a go.
